Additionally, for those seeking a more immersive experience, we are hosting schools and colleges for Summer Camp at Thajiwas, Sonamarg. The camp will provide a unique opportunity to engage in various activities like trekking, camping, nature walks, team-building exercises, bonfires under the starry sky and outdoor activities like Volley Ball, Tug Of War, Trampoline Jumping, Slides, Frisbee, Relay race and many more. Qualified instructors will be present to guide and supervise the activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Thajiwas in Sonamarg is a beautiful destination for a summer camp for children. Here's a suggested Itinerary for 2 Nights 3 days summer camp in Thajiwas, Sonamarg:
Day 1
Arrival at Sonamarg Check-in and Orientation
Students will check in to their allotted accommodations and thereafter all the students will gather in the open ground for a brief orientation session
Adventure Activities: Camp will start with some adventure activities like Volley ball, badminton, Frisbee, Tug of war etc.
Evening Campfire: In the evening campfire will be organised where children can sing songs, share stories, and participate in fun games .
Dinner: Delicious dinner prepared by the camp organizers will be served at 9 PM sharp. Overnight stay at Thajiwas, Sonamarg Campsite
Day 2
Students will get up at 6 am Sharp. Students will join the Physical exercise session at 7:30AM
Breakfast: Breakfast will be served at 8:30 am and then a 3-4 hour trekking with authorised Trekkers and guides would start towards Thajiwas Glacier (Thajiwas Glacier located at an altitude of 9,186 feet (2,797 meters) and is about 2.3 kilometres from the town of Sonamarg. The glacier is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and meadows, and is a popular spot for hiking, sledding, and photography.
Nature walk and picnic: Along the way, Students will take breaks for a nature walk, which will allow students to explore the surrounding flora and fauna and will set up a picnic spot amidst the scenic landscapes for lunch.
Return to Campsite: After spending a memorable day at the glacier, and picnic students would return to the campsite by late afternoon.
Evening Activities: Students will be engaged in team-building games, outdoor sports, or arts and crafts activities.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Thajiwas Sonamarg campsite.
Sports and Games: Students will begin the day with some energizing sports and games at the campsite. Students will have a mini- tournament or various competition matches.
Closing Ceremony: Organisers will conduct a closing ceremony where students can share their experiences, perform, and receive certificates of participation and awards. All the students will be offered a packed lunch.
Departure: After the closing ceremony, organisers will bid farewell to the campers and depart from Sonamarg with fond memories.
